On January 27, 2024, the competition "Dnipro Creative Startups 2024" was held at the Dnipro National University named after Oles Honchar as part of the ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH project within the Erasmus+ Program "Jean Monnet Actions in the field of Higher Education" for 2021 -2027.

The purpose of the event was to unite the innovation community of Ukraine in search of the latest business models, development of startups, exchange of experience of European and Ukrainian business representatives, representatives of scientific and educational institutions, and public opinion regarding the "green" recovery of Ukraine's economy.

The competition program was as follows.

The work under the code "Eco monitor" and entitled "Information and analytical system for collecting, processing and analyzing data on the state of air pollution" was submitted for participation in the competition by the team of the department of computer engineering and electronics, consisting of: a graduate of the master's degree in specialty 123 "Computer engineering", Zavaleev Arsentii Ihorovych; Head of the KIE Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Perekrest Andriy Leonidovych; candidate of technical sciences, associate professor, Valery Mykolayovych Sydorenko; Volodymyr Serhiyovych Bakharev, professor of the department of the Central Technical University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, methods from his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Complex system of ecological monitoring of atmospheric air of urban systems" which formed the basis of the project; graduate student of specialty 122 "Computer science", assistant of the KIE department, Vadurin Kirill Olegovich.

The defense of works at the competition took place in a mixed format. From the team of the KIE department, online, the work was presented by Zavaleev Arsentiy Ihorovych, who, according to the jury's decision, received the highest award among all the participants of the competition - Diploma of the 1st degree, the book "Collection of cases. European practices of environmental responsibility and conscious consumption" by O.A. Zinchenko, I.Yu. Pryvarnikova, V.E. Redko, O.V. Pashchenko, V.S. Yakovenko, brand badge and Pixus Titan tablet.

It should be noted that the presented scientific and practical solutions are a planned development of scientific directions in atmospheric air monitoring, developed by the KIE department. Efforts in the development of these areas are made by teachers who conduct scientific work within their own working hours and under contracts with environmental enterprises http://cee.kdu.edu.ua/uk/content/temy-ndr, http://cee.kdu .edu.ua/uk/content/naukovi-zdobutky, and also attract students who demonstrate their achievements at international competitions of scientific works and in theses of conferences http://cee.kdu.edu.ua/uk/content/naukova- diyalnist-zdobuvachiv-osvity.

Druzhynina Victoria Valeryivna, Doctor of Economic Sciences, professor of the BAMT department, also made a significant contribution to the work. The reward received by Zavaleyev Arsentiy Ihorovych is evidence of the effectiveness of the educational, scientific and entrepreneurial processes that are developing at the KIE department, so we will continue to work fruitfully in these areas.
